A high-”steaks” interview this week on CNN in which we discussed the (clean) meat of the matter.

“If we can grow the meat without the animal, why wouldn’t we?” You might expect to hear those words from an animal advocate or environmentalist, but in reality this week they came from the CEO of Tyson Foods in Bloomberg while talking about growing clean meat from animal cells.

Will meat in the near future come from cells rather than slaughter? I did a seven-minute live segment on CNN this week to discuss just that. If you’re interested in a lengthier take on clean meat, here’s a new podcast interview with me that came out this week, too.

Speaking of podcasts, there’s a new, inspirational episode of Business for Good out this week, focused on the work of a start-up that’s capturing air pollution and turning it into ink. Very cool!

In the meantime, the plant-based revolution rolls on, as Feedstuffs reports this week on the booming demand for dairy-free milks and more.

Have a nice weekend,
Paul

P.S. Video of the week: Who says animals can’t communicate to us what they want?
